FACTS
- The Institute is an autonomous body under control of the Board of Management consisting of 19 members. The Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra is the Chairman of the Board of Management and the Principal of the Institute acts as the Secretary.
- In the early days the Institute was housed in Byculla in a building donated for the purpose by Sir Dinshaw Maneckji Petit.
- V.J.T.I has highly advanced equipment for training and research in the fields of Mech. Controls & Robotics & Automation.
